There is never a dull moment with Lamborghini, and the Urus is the latest testament to that. Some might Argue that that famous Italian brand is late to the SUV party, actually it was too early as it launched its first SUV way before it was trendy, back in the 1980s with the LM002, code name Cheetah.
While that model was a glorious brute, the Urus is a modern day Brute as it is sharp and aggressive looking, it’s at its best when looked at from its rear three quarters, those angular wheel arches… actually angular everything. The rear end by far is the most striking rear seen on a SUV. The front is where things get a bit tricky, those air vents sure seem necessary as they dominate the nose. Overall one most probably would struggle to call it gorgeous or beautiful, but it is one striking piece of machinery. Inside and the Lambo interior DNA is more visible, it matches the exterior actually and provides mush needed balance. the only questionable thing about the interior would be rear headroom as that sloping roofline might eat away at it. As for the mechanics, the Urus is powered by a blistering 4.0 liter V8 twin-turbo engine delivering 650 hp and 850 Nm of torque, mated to an 8 speed auto. Its performance is equally staggering as it accelerates from 0-100 in 3.6 seconds, with a top speed of 305 kmh, it is the fastest SUV hands down.
Mind you Lamborghini has coined a new segment for its Urus, which is SSUV, short for Super Sport Utility Vehicle, could you blame them though?
